Stroller, Wheelchair & Rollator Rental in Seoul (Hongdae, Exit 3)

Seoul is a walking city — palaces, markets, hills, and a lot of subway stairs. That's wonderful until someone in your group can't keep up the pace: a toddler whose legs give out by lunch, a parent recovering from surgery, or a grandparent who'd love to see Gyeongbokgung but not on foot all day. The fix isn't to slow the whole trip down. It's wheels — and you don't have to fly them in from home. You can rent a stroller, wheelchair, or rollator in Seoul and pick it up the moment you arrive.

At KPLANZ, directly connected to Hongik University Station Exit 3, we keep foldable, travel-ready models in stock for exactly this. Here's the full lineup, who each one suits, and how renting works.

🍼 Strollers — travel light with little ones

Gate-checking a stroller from home means it rides in cargo, comes back scratched about a third of the time, and leaves you carrying a tired toddler through the terminal. Renting in Seoul skips all of that. We stock two:

RYAN Prime Lite (compact) — ₩15,000/day. About 6.3 kg, folds down to roughly 48 × 30 × 56 cm, and suits newborns up to around 36 months. This is the easy everyday choice for getting around the city and on and off the subway.

Pomporra N2 (full-feature) — ₩26,000/day. A fuller stroller at about 8.6 kg with a seat that fully reclines (up to 170°) so a newborn can lie flat, plus a reversible handle so your baby can face you or the view. Good for younger infants and longer sightseeing days.

Not sure which fits your trip? Our deeper guide covers six situations visiting families run into — twins, "she can walk… until she can't," multi-city trips, and more.

♿ Wheelchair — full mobility support

Folding manual wheelchair — ₩15,000/day. An aluminum-frame foldable chair, about 11 kg, supporting up to 100 kg, with hand brakes and a comfortable seat. It folds to roughly 25 × 75 × 102 cm — small enough for a standard Korean taxi trunk, hotel room, and subway gates. This is the right pick when someone needs to be seated and pushed for most of the day: senior parents, post-surgery recovery, or anyone conserving energy across a packed itinerary.

🚶 Rollators — the in-between option many travelers miss

A rollator is a four-wheeled walking frame with hand brakes and a built-in seat. It's for the traveler who can walk but needs steady support — and a place to sit and rest whenever the line is long or the legs get tired. For a lot of older visitors, a rollator is actually a better fit than a wheelchair: it keeps them walking and independent, just with a safety net.

Keeve KV-R2 — ₩21,000/day. A stable 4-wheel rollator, about 7.5 kg, with an adjustable handle height, a comfortable seat and backrest, hand brakes, and a foldable frame. Korean-made and easy to manage on Seoul's sidewalks and parks.

Rollz Motion 2 (2-in-1) — ₩38,000/day. A premium rollator that converts into a wheelchair when needed — walk with it most of the time, then switch to seated-and-pushed mode for the long stretches. About 11.6 kg, made in the Netherlands. Ideal when a traveler's stamina varies day to day, or across a long sightseeing route where they'll want both.

How renting works

  • Minimum 2 nights, 3 days. The 3-day rate is the smallest booking; extra days are added at the same daily rate. We count by calendar dates, so an earlier pickup gives you more hours for the same price.
  • Pick up at Exit 3. Take the AREX straight from Incheon to Hongik University Station and walk to our connected entrance — no transfers, no stairs with luggage.
  • Refundable deposit, no paperwork. A refundable deposit is held at pickup (card or cash in store) and returned in full when you bring the item back. No passport required.
  • Book ahead. Stock changes often and mobility items can sell out in peak weeks (cherry blossom, autumn foliage, Chuseok, Lunar New Year). Walk-ins are welcome, but a reservation guarantees availability.

Delivery & collection

Prefer not to come to the shop? We can deliver to and collect from your hotel or location in Seoul, and airport pickup is available too. This isn't automatic: fees and availability depend on your location and schedule, and delivery/airport service takes a cash deposit only. Please message us in advance with your dates, items, and address, and we'll confirm and send a quote.

Drop your bags while you're here

Picking up on your first day before check-in, or returning on your last day before a night flight? You can also store your luggage at the same Exit 3 counter — so the whole group can sort wheels and bags in one stop and head straight into the city hands-free.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum rental period?
Two nights, three days. The 3-day rate is the smallest booking; additional days are charged at the same daily rate. Rentals can be extended for the length of your trip.

How much does it cost?
Daily rates are: strollers from ₩15,000 (compact) to ₩26,000 (full-feature), the folding wheelchair ₩15,000, the Keeve rollator ₩21,000, and the Rollz Motion 2 rollator-wheelchair ₩38,000 — each per day, with a 3-day minimum.

Both. In-store pickup at Exit 3 is standard. Delivery, collection, and airport pickup are available on request, but fees and availability depend on your location and schedule, and require a cash deposit — message us in advance for a quote.

Do I need to book in advance?
It's strongly recommended. Stock changes frequently and mobility items can run out in peak travel weeks. Walk-ins are welcome but stock isn't guaranteed.

Pack less, care more

Whether you're traveling with a toddler, a parent who tires easily, or grandparents who want a gentler pace, the right set of wheels is the difference between a hard day and an easy one — and you can pick it up the hour you land.
